Any one recites it before sleeping will be protected by Allah and people near him. It states also: Any one who recites Ayatul Kursi after Salah, will be so near to Paradise that nothing separates him from entering Paradise but only dying, and no one keeps reciting Ayatul Kursi after his Salah but Siddeeq ( truthful) or a worshiper. Hadeeth states: Any one who recites Ayatul Kursi while leaving his home, will be protected by Allah till he returns back safely. Then somebody came to me and started stealing from the foodstuff. It was narrated by Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) ordered me to guard the Zakat revenue of Ramadan. This is displayed from the story of Abu Huraira and Satan. The recital of Ayatul Kursi before going to sleep will bring upon a guardian from Allah, to protect us all night long and shelter us from the Satan till dawn. It describes in what great ways Allah’s everlasting competence is spread throughout the heavens and the earth. It is considered the ‘Greatest ayat’ in the book of Allah in view of the fact that it asserts the might and power of Allah. Ayatul Kursi is the 255th verse of Surah Baqarah (The Cow) in the Holy Quran.
